Reused For A New Life

Now these bedsprings and umbrella are being reused in a new way. They are hanging from the ceiling in the store.

We added a shelf on the bottom of this over the mantle piece. It can now be used as a shelf over a sideboard, bed or just on the wall in a garden room.

My two new girls, Molly and Polly. They are so cute and friendly. How do you like their feathered feet?

This little painted piece would make a nice bed stand or side table.

Even this ladder is being reused as a prop in the store.

Karen's Booth

Karen makes these magnets and does a lot of hand made items. Her magnets are a real hit and her hand made tags are too. She has a good eye for displaying her items.
Karen is a joy to have in The Green Pea. We just love you Karen.

Is it really Fall?

Today the weather is so beautiful outside, it is hard to believe that it is Fall. It is also the end of October. We are still wearing shorts and sandals.

This is a little piece in just brought into the store. It would make a nice side table, night table or garden table. The chicken wire gives it a garden look!

These two red motel chairs are looking for a new home. They would look great on a porch with a Christmas trees sitting on them.

Look at these two beautiful oak post office chairs. They are in perfect condition and would love to go home with someone. I hope they stay together!

White Cottage Hutch

I love the size and the detail on the this hutch. It painted up so sweet and the simple lines of the piece is great. I really like the long wooden handle on the large drawer.

This piece would look good in a kitchen with pretty plates displayed or on the sun porch with plants and books displayed. What do you think?

Peach Picker's Basket

This is a peach picker's basket. I can just see it filled with fruit, wine and some dried herbs on someones kitchen island or table. It was hand made from old canvas conveyor belting. The vintage basket was found on a retired old peach farm. It now has a new life as a unique center piece. I hope you have a good day!

Sue and Dan's Booth

This is one of The Pea's venders booth (Sue and Dan). There is a good mix of furniture, jewelry, old cast iron toys, guy things and beautiful women's treasures.
They have a great booth and I hope that you stop in and see for yourself.

Have you ever seen a two sided desk? It is very unique, I wonder what it was used for originally. If anyone knows I would love to hear from you.

I have my eye on the coffee grinder on the wall. I love coffee related items.

If you like old signs, they always have a few in their booth. Dan and Sue I am so glad to have you at the Pea. Happy hunting this Saturday, we have a city wide garage sale here in Escalon.

We are almost finished with the work stations in the back room of the store. Hopefully we will be finished in a few weeks. I need to have Jim at home to finish our home remodeling project. It has been on hold for four years, while we were working on the store.
