A Peek at the Animals

Lovely cat but has so many demands for me. Hold me, feed me, let me outside, on and on...

This is Mr. nice guy. Don't bother me and I will not bother you....or anyone else either.

Our new little chickens. They are so cute. The mother chicken is so proud of them.

It's a big world out there! Mom take us out for a look at the other animals......

This cat is great! She does not eat, meow or need to go outside. She just sleeps and sleeps day and night. She only needs to be moved when I sell the piece from under her....my kind of cat.....

What a week for Auntie Sandi

Some of my lovely nieces came to visit, The Green Pea and after we all had lunch to celebrate two 50th Birthdays. What a blessing to be a Auntie to such wonderful ladies. I love them all so much.

Can anyone tell me about this rolling pin? It is old and I was told, it was used for pasta. Please let me know if you know anything about what it was used for.....

A new iron piece for the store. It would also make a nice pot holder if hung for the ceiling.

Two pillows for the horse lovers. I love the horse jumping pillow and the blanket pillow behind it. The Hunt boots add a little equestrian flavor...... Also the old, old dresser in the background is just so beautiful. It is my husbands favorite piece in the store.

I just received these new quilted pillows. They are so sweet and look so nice all around the store.

Almond Blossom Time

This is a beautiful time of year in the Valley. All of the Almond trees are in bloom. This year the rain and wind made for a short time to enjoy the beauty. You can see the blossoms on the ground after a windy day.

These photos were taken last week. This week the trees are starting to turn green with their new leaves.

I hope you have a wonderful and blessed Sunday. sandi

Some projects for the Pea

This is a table I just finished painting a lovely black. I am so pleased at how it finished out. I have one of the chairs to the set below.

How do you like this sweet blue baby doll buggy? What little girl would not want to have one for her favorite doll? Grandma please buy this one for me......your loving Grandchild....

This is a project chair, I have four of them and I will be painting them black to go with the table above. I am not sure yet what I will do with the seats, I have to think about that.....

One more project, a bunny cage, I am going to make it a cute little home for my doves. I will post pictures when I am finished. Thank you friend Anita, I needed one more project.......

Another friend Sweet Janice, she will be having a 85th Birthday in a few days. Gave this old piece to me, her dad used it in his garage for years as a work station. It came out of the old market on Main Street here in Escalon many, many years ago. He owned the barber shop next door to the market. I just amazes me that I can still find these old treasures in someones garage or barn in my own town. I will have to take some more pictures when it is in the store. It completely feel apart when I took it home from her house.....Lucky I have a nice husband !!!
